Whoever wins this match will join Arsenal in the final for the chance to win the FA cup. Going into the game Chelsea have not had the best form against Man united this season losing 4-0 on the opening day of the season. However they start well today having the first key chance of the game when the ball is played to Reece James on the edge of the box who its it but De Gea manages to save the powerful strike and pushes it away. Next the ball is collected on the edge of the box after a Chelsea corner and the ball is spread to Aziplicueta who curls the ball into the head Alonso who heads the ball over the box at a time he really should have scored. Man united then have a Freekick on the edge of the box. It is taken by Bruno Fernandes but he hits it straight at Callebro who tips the ball over the bar keeping the scores even. The next significant attack is when Willian plays the ball into Azipliceuta on the right side who then plays a low cross into the box Giroud beats his man and manages to tap the ball towards the goal De Gea gets a hand to the shot but it slips pass him and Chelsea score 1-0 so far in the Semi final game.

Now in the second half after 46 seconds the ball is won and passed into the feet of Mason Mount who hits the ball from a fair distance De Gea dives towards it makes contact but it is not strong enough and Mount scores after 46 seconds due to another goalkeeping Mistake. Man united have the next chance after a ball is played over the top into Marcus Rashford who its the ball along the floor but it goes just past the post. Next the ball is played into the box again by Alonso into Giroud who its the ball but it takes a deflection and the speed is taken out of it and De Gea saves it. Then Chelsea have a corner that is headed into James who hits the ball towards the goal but De Gea saves it and the ball comes out Giroud collects it plays it wide to Alonso who crosses the ball low again towards Rudiger but the ball comes off Maguire and it goes in. 3-0 to Chelsea after a Maguire own goal. Man united have an attack now after the ball is touched into Martial who takes a touch but Hudson-Odoi makes a tackle that doesn’t get any contact on ball and Martial goes down and a penalty is awarded in United’s favour. Fernandes steps up to it and the ball is hit into the bottom left of the goal and its now 3-1 still in favour of Chelsea. Now the final attack of the game the ball is slipped into Hudson-Odoi who beats 3 Man united players he hits it but it goes over the bar. The game ends 3-1 to Chelsea after they dominate an unbeaten in 18 Man United team.

Norwich need to gain any points they can to escape relegation but it looks likely that they will be playing in the Championship next season. Chelsea also need a win to gain an edge in the top four race so they play in the champions league next season. Early on in the first half Jorginho plays a a lofted pass over the Norwich defence and Giroud hits it on the volley but the Norwich goal keeper is able to catch the ball. Chelsea have the next key attack when Toni Rudiger plays a cross into the box Pulisic controls it turns and its the ball on the half volley but Tim Krul (the Norwich keeper) makes an amazing save to tip the ball over the bar keeping the score at 0-0. Chelsea continue to have the key chances Pulisic plays a ball into Giroud who dives towards the ball and meets it with their head and the ball goes in making the score 1-0 to Chelsea going into the second half.

In the second half Chelsea continue their domination when the ball is played across box into Azipcuelta who curls the ball towards the Norwich goal but it goes over the bar. Another Chelsea attack and Giroud this time manages to flick the ball over Norwich defenders into Pulisic who hits a tame volley straight at the goal keeper. In the final strong attack of the game the ball is played out wide to Willian who plays a low pass towards the front post Giroud manages to get to the ball first but his attempt steers wide. The game ends 1-0 Chelsea.

This game is a must win for Chelsea so they can stay in the top four to win Champions League football for next season. Palace also need to win this to gain stability and stay out of the relegation battle. As the game stars Chelsea have the first chance as Reece James plays the ball down the line to Willian who breezes past Gary Cahill of injures himself in the chase. Willian runs towards the by-line and pulls the ball back to Giroud who manages to steer the ball in and make the score 1-0 to Chelsea in the 6th minute. Now Willian drives towards the Palace box, he plays a pass to Giroud who plays it back to him. Willian then plays the ball out to Pulisic who smashes the ball into the roof of the Palace net putting Chelsea firmly in the lead after 27 minutes. Chelsea continue to have the main chances after Pulisic tees the ball up to Willian hits the ball but the Palace goalkeeper manages to save it. Palace have the next main chance when Zaha collects a stray ball in the Chelsea half he dribbles forward and sees an opening to take a shot, the ball rockets into the Chelsea net in an un-saveable position now making the score 2-1 going into the second half.

During the start of the second half there is little action to note and neither keeper is troubled until the 71st minute when Ruben Loftus-Cheek plays the ball to the feet of Tammy Abraham who places the ball into the far corner of the Palace net giving Chelsea an insurance goal. Palace have a chance when the ball is played into the feet of Patrick Van Aanholt for manages to play the ball across the goal face into Benteke who taps the ball into an empty Chelsea net making the score 3-2 in favour of Chelsea. Palace then have the last chance of the game when the ball is crossed into the box towards Scott Dann who headers the ball across goal and off the Chelsea post. Theres a goal mouth scramble but the ball is cleared and Chelsea escape a draw, the final score ends 3-2 to Chelsea.

Chelsea need to win this game to maintain their chase of Champions league football but Watford also need to gain any points from the match so they can escape relegation and stay in the Premier league. Chelsea have the first chance of the game when Pulisic plays a clever pass into the feet of Giroud who tries to score by smacking the ball across the goal but the Watford manages to stop the ball and stop a Chelsea goal. Chelsea continue to have the significant chances in the first half and Barkley plays a smart ball into Giroud who this time hits the ball into the Watford post and then into the Watford net making the score 1-0 to Chelsea. Next Pulisic then makes a marauding run down the left side of the Watford box but Mariappa makes a dangerous tackle, the blows the whistle and calls for a pen. Willian steps up to take it and calmly puts the ball into the top corner of the Watford net making it 2-0 to Chelsea going into the second half.

Chelsea are having most of the chances so far in the game and they have the first chance in the second half when the ball is played out wide to Willian who cuts in on his right foot and attempts to curl the ball across the goal but Foster manages to tip it around the post managing to keep the score 2-0. Watford have their first strong chance of the game after the ball is stolen off of Gilmour and the ball is played to the feet of Welbeck who attempts to pass the ball into the net but Kepa manages to palm the ball away from the goal and it is hooked clear by Rudiger. Chelsea now have the next clear chance when Azpilicueta manages to play the ball into the feet of Barkley who then smashes the ball into the roof of the Watford net finishing of the game. The game ends 3-0 to Chelsea bringing them closer to Champion league football.

This is the second game back after the break and it is crucial in Man City’s title race. If Chelsea win this game then Liverpool win the league and Man City’s hopes are ended.

During opening stages of the first half City have a free kick that is aimed towards the front post, Fernandinho meets the ball and drives a powerful header towards the Chelsea goal and Kepa is forced to make a save. Then In the 36th minute City have a second free kick, it is header away and the two Man city defenders come to meet the ball there is a mix up and Christian Pulisic capitalises, He takes the ball from them and beats Mendy he races towards the goal and calmly places the ball into the back of the Man City net, 1-0 to Chelsea and it brings Liverpool closer to glory. There is little action to comment on for the rest of the first half. Now in the second half and Man City have a free kick on the edge of the box. De Bruyne steps up to take it. He hits the ball sweetly with the inside of his boot and it curves and dips into the the top left of the Chelsea net. Its 1-1 and it looks like it could be anyone’s game. Man city then have an attack it is a lightning fast break and Sterling carries the ball to he edge of the box, he has the opportunity to square it to Jesus but he decides to go for the chip over Kepa and it hits the post. The ball is then played over the top to Pulisic again and he races towards the goal he dribbles past Ederson the goalkeeper and places the ball towards the Man City net but somehow Kyle Walker gets back and manages to clear the ball off the line keeping the score even. The next chance is for Chelsea, Willian plays the ball into the box, Abraham hits the ball on the volley but Ederson saves it the Pulisic try to get the ball into the nest and Ederson saves Abraham has another go at it but Fernandinho is there to clear it off the line but was it a handball? VAR checks it and Chelsea are awarded a penalty and Fernandinho is sent off after he purposely smacks the ball of the line, Willian comes to take the penalty and ball rockets into the top left corner of the net giving Chelsea the advantage 2-1 and it looks like Liverpool are on their way to claiming the title for the first time. The final whistle blows and Chelsea have won the league for Liverpool.

The German and English teams were made of ex-players. Germany kicked off the game they have a total of 500 caps between them. England have a brilliant start and have the first 2 good chances of the game but Germany then have a couple good chances but they do not score. Matt Le Tessier has a Golden opportunity but his shot from the edge of the box goes wide. Germany continue to have most of the good chances for the rest of the half. Most of their shots come from the German CaCau but he is unable to convert any of the chances. Lee Hendrie then has a good shot but a good save is made to deny them. The 1st half ends with Germany having a lot of the possession and being strong on the break. The score is 0-0.

England then kick off the 2nd half and Cacau has the 1st good chance in the 2nd half but his shot goes over the bar. The Germans then have another chance but Cacau is unable to finish them. Lee Hendrie has a shot that rebounds off the crossbar, then Germany launch a counter attack but Lee Sharpe makes a crucial block off the line. The game has been in tipping in Germany’s favour but England are looking good in attack. Then due to a German mistake Sheringham plays a pass to Philips who then has a shot which is saved. The ball rebounds to Lee Hendrie who calmly puts the ball into the open net. 1-0 to England with 7 minutes left. During the dyeing embers of the game Germany bombard the box trying to score and level the game but nothing can be done. England beat Germany again and they are going to celebrate at last.

Chelsea already hold the advantage going into this game leading 1-0 on aggregate but Barcalona are one of the strongest sides at the moment so there is no doubt that they can pull this back.

Barcalona had held all the cards in the 1st half and they dominated Chelsea having most of the shots in the 1st half. 10 minutes before half time the ball is ran into the box by a Barcalona player who then pulls it back to Sergio Busquets who calmly slots the ball into the empty Chelsea net making the score 1-1 on aggregate. then 2 minutes later John Terry is sent off for violent conduct after he kneed Alexis Sanchez in the leg. Now Chelsea have 10 men a against a strong Barcalona team. Barca capitalise apon this and score again before half time and now they are ahead on aggregate 2-1. Before half time Frank Lampard slots the ball through to Ramires who calmly chips the ball over Victor Valdes’ head now Chelea are ahead on away goals just before half time.

The 2nd half starts and Barcalona are looking to score so they can be ahead and can go into the final. They repeatedly bombard the Chelsea defence. They win a penalty that Lionel Messi takes but he hits the bar Chelsea are given a lucky escape. They Barcalona bombardment continues throughout the game Messi hits the post and they continue to attack the Chelsea net. In stoppage time Lampard clears the ball past the halfway line and Torres is there as he collects the ball and sprints towards the Barcalona goal Victor Valdes goes out to meet him but Torres calmly knocks the ball past him leaving an empty net to the Spaniard who calmly knocks the ball into the net and Chelsea are truly safe and are going to the Champions league final in Munich. The final score is 3-2 to Chelsea on aggregate.

This was Wigan’s 1st FA cup final and Man city’s 10th.

In the 1st half Wigan had a chance within the opening moments of the game that they should have really scored. Man city have the next major chance but that is not converted. This is a game that they really should be winning as it gives them the chance to win a clean sweep of trophies. Man city also have the 3rd major chance of the match but there is little threat to goal. Yaya Toure then haves a shot from the edge of the box but it is rebounded of a Wigan player, this gives Wigan Athletic now have a chance to counter attack. Joe Hart then goes out to meet the Wigan striker the striker evades him but the city defence come back and are able to smother the danger. Then towards the end of the 1st half they’re is a huge penalty shout after a Wigan player is tripped within the box after a tough shoulder-to-shoulder. However, the referee denies the shouts.

Now into the 2nd half Man city have a chance but they are yet to convert one of these chances that they should be converting considering the type of players that they have. Then Wigan have a chance as their striker sprints down the pitch but Zabaleta brings him down bringing a end to the attack. The tackle was dangerous and the referee look like they are going to give Zabaleta a 2nd yellow and he is off, Man city are down to 10 men in a game they really should be dominating but Wigan are playing well so they deserves this scoreline. Now in the 88th minute Wigan have a corner, the ball is swung into the front post and Ben Watson heads the ball into the Man city net. 1-0 TO WIGAN the underdogs have scored in the dying embers of the game. AND WIGAN HAVE WON IT. in a game that Man city should be dominating Wigan. Wigan played well and were solid at the back stopping the side wanting to go for a clean sweep.

After years of heart break Chelsea had gotten to the final, A hurdle they have stumbled on before. They had come from behind to beat Napoli and they had beaten arguably the best Barcalona team from behind with 10 men. All they had to do now was beat Bayer Munich, 5 time European champion, In their own backyard(The Allianz Arena).

The first half of this monumental game started and Chelsea were already under the kosh. This half gave Bayern the lying share of the major chances, Chelsea only having 1. Bayern’s chances had both sprouted from play by their wingers (Ribery and Robben). Robben was a 100 apped Chelsea player so Chelsea knew how good he was and Ribery was arguably one of the best in the world at the time of the match. Chelsea’s single chance looked promising and showed the Bavarian side just how good we can be. However this wasn’t enough and we needed to keep showing our skill.

Going into the second half Chelsea’s tactic was to give Bayern no space, pressure everyone and make it difficult for the opponents to play. This helped the side to hold the game out till the 83rd minute when Kroos held the ball at the edge of the box in a pocket of space. He loopeed the ball towards the far post and Thomas Muller came up to meet the ball. He headed the ball hard and into the ground it flew over Cech and into the net giving Bayern the lead with little time to go. With little hope left Chelsea had a corner in the 88th minute. It was taken by Mata a beautiful ball that sailed towards the front post. Then from nowhere the Didier Drogba leapt to meet it he produce one of the most iconic headers. This feat could only be done this late in the game by him (as said by Frank Lampard, fellow Chelsea legend and Champions league winner). The ball came of his head at such speed that it overpowered Neuer’s hand and bounced into the roof of the net. It was 1-1 at full time and There was still some hope for Chelsea.

Extra time had started and fatigue had started to set in. The 1st half of extra time held little action until the 105th minute. Robben was dribbling within the Chelsea box, Drogba had come back to help the defence. He stuck out a leg in the hopes to stop Robben’s attempts. The Dutchman went down and a penalty was awarded to Bayern. Robben stepped up to take the penalty this was his chance to make himself a hero. Robben and Cech (The Chelsea’s goal keeper) were friends and they had trained together at Chelsea. Cech new his technique and his penalty style. As Robben ran towards the ball and hit it to the Cech’s left. Cech also went this way, he had made the save to keep Chelsea in the game. The 2nd half of extra time was tense and there was little attempts at ever net and all that was left was the penalty shoot out.

The shoot out had started. Philip Lahm took Bayern’s 1st and he put it away. Mata was Chelsea’s first taker and his shot was saved (1-0 Bayern). Both of the teams 2nd penalties were scored (2-1 Bayern). Both teams 3rd penalties were also scored (3-2 Bayern). The 4th Bayern player steps up to take his penalty but Petr Cech saves it allowing the blues to even the score. Frank Lampard then smashes the ball down the middle and scoring (3-3). Bastien Schweinsteiger goes to take Bayern’s 5th penalty and Cech saves it yet again. Now the if Drogba scores this penalty Chelsea win the shootout and the Champions League. He steps up to take it, and he slots the ball to Neuer’s right and the German keeper went the wrong way. CHELSEA HAVE WON IT. After countless semi finals and the final heartbreak of 2008 Chelsea have finally won a champions league. Not only have they beaten Bayern, arguably the best team at the moment they’ve done it in their own back yard!

Chelsea need to get these 3 points to maintain momentum and keep on the top 4 while Everton need to get enough points to escape relegation.

8 minutes in and Willian plays the ball into the path of Mason Mount whose shot is saved by Jordan Pickford. In the 14th minute Mount swivels on the edge of the box and finishes the ball into the bottom corner making the score 1-0 to Chelsea. Chelsea scores yet again after Pedro races towards he goal picks a spot and finishes it into the Everton net 2-0 Chelsea. The first half Finishes with the score at 2-0 to Chelsea.

After 6 minutes into the 2nd half Willian scores to make the score 3-0 to Chelsea they are truly dominating now. Then in the 54th minute Giroud joins in on the fun to make the score 4-0 to the blues. After that goal the game remains pretty subdue with no action at either end. Everton do not put up much of a fight as Chelsea close out the game 4-0 to the blues.
